Administrative Closure

Administrative closure is a way for clients to complete their asylum process. It is recognized as a “docket management tool,” which USCIS judges use to prioritize their caseload and the government’s limited enforcement resources. USCIS removes administratively closed cases from the active court docket and gives immigrants an opportunity to live in the United States without the fear of deportation. Administrative closure does not provide permanent residency status. Instead, it puts cases on indefinite hold and delays removal proceedings.

DCDK Law strives to win every asylum case. We will find a path for you to achieve your goals and get your American citizenship.
